A parent in Pleasanton, parent of a school-age and a preschooler
Ok this was a ton of unexpected fun! It's an easy trip about 45 minutes from Pleasanton, and we spent a few hours there. They gave us lots of jelly bean samples, we took a self guided tour of the factory that had videos and interactive exhibits for the kids, shopped in the gift shop and took the little train to the museum. They also have fudge and other candy for sale and a cafe with ice cream and family friendly foods. They also serve breakfast. The factory was not in production today because we went on a weekend, but I think if you go Mon-Thurs you can see the jelly bean action. Highly recommend for kids and also taking visiting family there.
