A parent in 94566, parent of a preschooler and a toddler
This is a weekly after-school outing for us! We really like the setup of the market - a big open square which provides some contrast to the Sunday market which is along the street. The Livermore markets are always generous with samples which my kids love. A lot of families put out picnic blankets and listen to the live music, which my kids don't like as much because of the noise, but they really enjoy running around and playing in the fountain and rolling down the little hills, which you see a lot of other kids doing too. The fact that it's seasonal (early summer to late fall) adds some novelty too and my older daughter now gets excited when the market re-opens each year. One downside is it can get exceptionally busy some days, especially when the weather's good.
