Extensive museum - a lot of stuff to see for kids & and adults. Not very hands-on interactive but was still very entertaining for my 1yo & 4yo. Highlights: - aquarium and indoor rainforest are really beautiful. - a few kids play sections to get their “hands on/running around” energy out - we went to the tot one where both kids could be. - So much to see - we didn’t get to several other exhibits - like the planetarium (that’s only for 4yo+). Tips: - at least on a sat 12-4pm, the lines and crowd are *a lot*. Get tickets online or immediately buy at the e-kiosks. Don’t stand in the ticket purchase line. Or with a membership, you skip the lines. - bring water & snacks; or they have 2 cafes (healthy options are limited). Lots of tables but no high chairs - most of it is stroller-friendly, with plenty of stroller parking - there’s free street parking or $5-7/hour underground below the museum - plenty of running around space outdoors & the play areas indoors for between breaks
