We have been with ASA since my son was around a year old. The staff have always been so welcoming to our family. They communicate regularly about swimmer progress through phone calls, text, and in person updates. My son has built so much swim confidence that he now loves to swim recreationally on vacation or with friends. He always asks when his next lesson is or when he can see his favorite instructor again. They are honestly all so great and I have only good things to say. The price is totally worth it in my opinion.

My daughter has only had 5 lessons so far but she is already learning the basic swim skills. The class size is small, just her and one other kid at this age. I think that has helped her feel comfortable and move through skills so quickly. If it’s a popular time of day for lessons, it will be busy in the pool as there are other lessons going on in other lane. We initially had a Saturday class but it just felt like so many kids in the pool. Now we do a weekday and it doesn’t feel as overwhelming. Overall, I’d recommend - my kid is learning how to swim and swim safety, and their timings worked for us. There are other locations in Walnut Creek and Livermore that I have also heard good things about.
