A parent in Pleasanton, parent of a preschooler and a toddler
First, I’m just going to clarify this is not exactly the most buzzing spot! I’ve been here a few times on a Saturday and it’s always relatively empty- perhaps because it’s in a fairly quiet complex. Just worth knowing beforehand. That said, I really enjoyed taking the kids here. We rented a shuffleboard court ($10 for 40 min) and then ordered food and drinks, and the kids loved playing their version of shuffleboard and running around in the spacious outdoor patio area. They stopped to have their dinner in between (which we ordered off the kids menu) then went back to playing and we were able to enjoy our dinner and a bottle of wine without having to worry about them. And after, we all played shuffleboard together too! There’s also bocce ball (hence the name Da Boccery) both indoors and outside, but we thought the courts were too expensive to rent. Also an arcade inside. So a good amount of entertainment. We’ll definitely be doing the shuffleboard again next time!
