A parent in Pleasanton, parent of a preschooler and a infant
We had lunch on a Sunday at Sauced, our favorite BBQ place in the Tri-Valley. I had made an online reservation for the outdoor covered patio, but it wasn't necessary since it wasn't that busy. Most guests dine inside the restaurant where there's sports games on the TVs, so it can get pretty loud in there. The covered patio was great for my family though - my son stayed busy with a coloring sheet that had a kids menu on the back with lots of kid friendly options (my son ordered chicken nuggets as his main and sliced green apples as his side dish). I liked how they provided a Koala Kare infant seat kradle; my baby was able to continue sleeping in his infant car seat. They also had high chairs and a koala care changing table in the restroom. Pro tip: My husband and I always order the cucumber watermelon lemonade cocktail at Sauced. It tastes just like a watermelon jolly rancher!
